Salt Water

One of my favorite places to visit on the Central Coast is Avila Beach. I was born in a little town near-by so this little gem of a beach used to be one of my family's favorite retreat destinations. I never realized how fortunate I was to have grown up on the central coast with its abundance of hiking trails, beaches, trees...basically value its proximity to the wilderness. The weather was absolutely gorgeous when Z and I were visiting.
I took these photos using this toy camera (Yunon YN 500) that I had found in a thrift store. Since it is a cheap little plastic camera, it created all these light streaks on the pictures. After being in the city for awhile, I would really love to make a trip down to Big Sur before it gets too cold. I've never been before and I think it would be a perfect way to spend the weekend.

Z and I are currently watching a marathon of LOST episodes on NETFLIX. Although that should not really make me want to go out camping, being confined in a cubicle at work for 8 hours a day, 7 days a week can really motivate someone.

Farewell New York!

I'm back from my vacation to the East Coast! I am a bit sad that I had to end my vacation a bit earlier than Z's (he is still there right now and I already miss him) because I start classes tomorrow. We traveled to New York, drove to Ocean City, Maryland and then spent the day in Washington, DC. I've taken some photos on my instagram, but still have to develop the rolls of film I took this week. It will be exciting to see how those rolls come out!  I'll write a longer blog post soon, but right now I'm off to run some errands before my sister visits me this weekend to drop off my beloved pig dog, Finnegan.

Finally finished packing late last night! I think I have a problem with over packing, but come on! I really do need to bring 15+ dresses with me... I think it's better to be prepared for anything, right? Leaving for a mini East Coast vacation. BRB in 2 weeks, ya'll.

Blue Angel

Outfit Details:
Angel Blue Dress // The White Pepper
Tights // ASOS
Woven Oxford Flats // Etsy
Vintage Market Bag // Etsy
Sunglasses // H&M
Black Opal Ring // H&M

I received this Angel dress from The White Pepper a couple of weeks ago after oohing and aahhing over their clothing in my past blog post.  The dress is really comfortable and easy to throw on when you just want to get out the door. The elastic in the bell-sleeves allow me to push them up when I'm doing something which is pretty convenient. If I could, I would make this dress into my uniform because you can dress up / dress down the look due to the simplicity of the dress' design. I just wish that it did not wrinkle so easily because I absolutely hate ironing! I plan on taking it with me on vacation because I think it will be the perfect beach cover up for Z and I's vacation coming up in...whoa...2 days! I'm pretty excited to leave for our trip! We'll be visiting New York, Philadelphia, and Maryland. Does any one have recommendations on places to check out or restaurants to eat at?

Summer & Fall

Here are some videos that have caught my eye recently. One is a song that makes me want to chill by the pool drinking some fruity drink and the other makes me want to cut my bangs and chop off my mermaid hair for the perfect 60's hair-do.
