Worry Worry Worry
I've been worrying about Sir Finnegan McDuff all morning. It seems he hurt his leg badly last night while playing with Z's family dog, Nico. Nico is a huge golden retriever, so Finnegan must have fractured his leg whist romping around with his best bud. I'm still waiting to hear back from Z about what the Vet said, but it looks like he might need surgery. SADNESS. NOW IF ONLY I COULD STOP YOUTUBING THESE TYPE OF VIDEOS:
The Weekend Never Dies
These past couple of weekends were filled with friends and family: Getting drinks and food with friends in Oakland, thrifting on Haight street, yummy dinner with cousin, seeing the last Harry Potter movie, Indian food galore, The Coathangers at Hemloc, Coldwave Dance night on Divisadero, and more. I wish the weekend would never end because they never seem long enough.

The plane ride there was quite the experience since my Mom had not been on a plane since we lived in Oahu, Hawaii (about 10 years ago). She would mutter filipino curse words when there was turbulence, when we were delayed and had a longer layover, and when she had to use the plane restroom since she's claustrophobic. I "oohed" and "ahhed" over the trees that seemed to line everything on the streets and freeways. The high humidity left me feeling like I was stuck in a bathroom while someone took a steamy shower. No matter where I went, there was the over-abundance of 7-11's on every corner. The first part of my trip consisted of family BBQ's, Ryan's graduation, eating at Cracker Barrel and clogging up my arteries, and typical Filipino things (that also clog up your arteries) of eating, eating, eating, planning what you're going to eat next, gossiping, and then eating. Scary? Yes. Also...every meal was eaten in-front of the lovely Last Supper Portrait. Scary. Here's part 1:
